31. Ways to stop wasting money

nowadays, money is A Must for everything

Do you like to waste money? While most of us don't, we often spend money on stuff that we don't really need. And this stuff could ultimately cause us a ton of financial woes. While there are tons of things that we can waste money on, some are more common than others. Here are some things that you should definitely stop wasting money on:

1. Junk food

These foods are full of fat, sugar, and salt, which themselves can eventually put you in the hospital. Such foods provide a lot of "empty calories" with little or no nutritional value whatsoever. You don't necessarily have to quit junk foods cold turkey. Once in a blue moon you could treat yourself to a Jr.-size hamburger, a small soda, or a bag of potato chips (baked, of course). Remember that fresh food is not only healthier for you that junk food is, but it's also cheaper!

2. Restaurants

While many of us still prepare our own dinners, eating out every day for lunch can really add up. And not only that, but a lot of take-out food is loaded with unhealthy ingredients. Here are some alternatives. Pack your own lunch the evening before. If you have leftovers from dinner, then include then in your packed lunch. And if you eat out, choose salads over full meals, since they're not only healthier for your body, but also won't cause your wallet to go on a crash diet!

3. Disposable stuff

The great feature of disposable things is that they're convenient, and you can throw them away. On the other hand, one of the main drawbacks is that they can cost you a small fortune! Use a dampened dishrag instead of a paper towel. Cook your own meals instead of buying TV dinners. Buy an electric razor instead of using a disposable one. Not only will you reduce the amount of money that you waste, but you'll also help to save the environment. And since you likely live on planet Earth-that's a good thing!

4. Convenience stores

The biggest benefit of such stores is that they're typically open 24-hours a day, and seven days a week. But the drawback is that you have to spend an arm and a leg for the convenience. So only shop at convenience stores when you absolutely, positively need something, and no other store is open. Instead, do most of your shopping at a supermarket.

5. Movies

Some action movies MUST be seen in a theater, to enjoy their sensory overload. But aside from that, you can still save a substantial amount of money by renting movies from your public library, instead of from video rental shops. That's because free stuff won't cost you a cent! Think about it this way: your taxes help to support the public library, so you might as well benefit from it.

6. Mixes

The main ones to avoid are pancake and cake mixes. These foods are a cinch to make yourself, and it's much healthier when you do it.

If you're tired of wasting money, then consider cutting these things from your monthly expenses. Small things can slowly add up to big debts!
